Part Time Customer Service Administrative Assistant
The Customer Service Administrative Assistant will possess excellent listening, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. They will provide outstanding customer service over the phone or via email, while fulfilling a variety of administrative tasks in the office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Be alert and attentive
- Actively listen with full attention to customer's needs and questions
- Effectively provide answers to customer inquiries over the phone; follow up as needed
- Balance daily cash receipts
- Process credit card payments
- Review various sales reports and complete required tasks for each report
- Submit furniture warranties on behalf of customers
- Input and maintain updated customer related sale information in store database
- Assist in managing DocuSign
- Knowledgeable of vendors and product information
- Order office supplies
- Prioritize work assignments to maximize efficiency
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information
- Other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 1 year customer service experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to gain adequate knowledge of our vendors and product information
- Team player; must work well with others to ensure smooth operation
- Work independently with little supervision
- Adequate knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and DocuSign
- Ability to learn and understand the company computer software (GERS) to run reports, track sales orders, and update information
- Working knowledge of office equipment; computers, printers, phones, etc.
- Ability to multi-task to achieve productivity
- Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen

- Ability to sit at a desk for a prolonged period of time
- Ability to work on a computer for a prolonged period of time
- Must have good hand-eye coordination, hand and finger dexterity, and visual acuity to use a keyboard
- Ability to grasp, carry, reach, and bend
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Ability to extend daily work schedule as needed to meet customers' needs
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
