Location: Mount Laurel, NJ

Position is Monday - Friday 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM

Pay Range: $23.50 to $25.00 per hour

YOUR ROLE

DISPATCHER I - Dedicated Transportation

Are you known for your coordination skills? Are you passionate about safety and regulation compliance? If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to assign routes to drivers; coordinates deliveries to assigned automotive dealerships via established guidelines and ensures compliance to DOT regulations and established internal policies and guidelines. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Dispatch drivers for Dedicated Dealer Delivery to Honda & Acura dealerships.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and established internal policies and guidelines.
• Notify drivers of assignments and direct their activities to ensure cargo is delivered according to route schedule safely.
• Support tracking and tracing of drivers to update TMS system along with updating customer
• Manage stored data and enter new data in computer database.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED; Minimum one to three years related experience. Minimum one year of industry experience preferred. Knowledge of local geographic market.
• Sound knowledge of DOT and CSA Regulations and prefer knowledge of Samsara ELD and Camera software system
• Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications. Accurate typing skills and/or data entry skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds
• Characteristics: Demonstrated leadership ability. Ability to read, comprehend, and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs.
