Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform loading, order fulfillment, cycle counting, put-away, and other warehouse activities.
• Operate a stand-up forklift efficiently and safely.
• Walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs as needed for various tasks.
• Maintain complete knowledge of company GDPs.
• Count all products and check for damage, infestation, and unique product identifiers such as part numbers and batches.
• Report any shortages, overages, or damages on the appropriate forms.
• Apply appropriate labels to products.
• Stack and store products efficiently to prevent damage.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work area in accordance with company housekeeping policies and procedures.
• Be responsible for food safety compliance.

Essential Skills

• Experience in operating a high-reach forklift.
• Proficiency in inventory and material handling.
• Experience with stand-up forklifts.
• Skills in shipping and receiving.
• Experience in warehouse operations, picking, and using a pallet jack.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
