Volt is immediately hiring for CAD Technician in West Chester, PA

As a CAD Technician you will:

• To prepare CAD drawings using customer proprietary applications.
• Function as a quality checkpoint for all CAD drawings.
• Perform Telecom OSP Records pre-posting and final posting utilizing IDDS.
• Work closely with field engineers; prepare complete engineering drawings and associated documentation in compliance with company and client policies.
• Generate work prints for construction ready work packages.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Must have a strong working knowledge of Drafting using proprietary applications, strong analytical skills, understanding of design methods in telecommunications.
• Working knowledge of IDDS, ICGS, FIMS, PRS, Windows Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Good computer, communication and visualization skills needed to work from engineering sketches and documents.
• Must be detailed oriented.
• Requires minimum of five years’ experience in outside plant records drafting.

Schedule: 1st Shift: 7:30 am – 3:30 pm (Monday – Friday)

Pay Rate: $20 – 24/hr.
