Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and motivated Women's Fashion Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for fashion trends, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for the fashion retail industry. As a Women's Fashion Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing product assortments to ensure we meet the demands of our customers and stay ahead of market trends.

This person will play a key role in the selecting and purchasing of clothing and accessories for the store. Their main goal is to ensure the store's inventory aligns with current trends, customer preferences, and the business's financial goals.

The ideal candidate will actively contribute to driving sales by creating compelling displays that engage customers and promote product interest. The fashion merchandiser will also collaborate with the sales team to develop promotions, track product performance, and suggest adjustments to maximize sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchasing for both seasons.
• Analyze fashion trends and consumer behavior to forecast and curate product assortments.
• Work closely with designers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of merchandise.
• Develop pricing strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the supply chain to ensure stock availability.
• Implement visual merchandising strategies that align with brand aesthetics and marketing campaigns.
• Conduct regular sales analysis and recommend adjustments to product offerings based on performance.
• Maintain a strong understanding of competitor activities and industry trends.

Requirements:

• A degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field.
• Experience in merchandising or retail management.
• Strong understanding of women's fashion trends, consumer preferences, and competitive market analysis.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and merchandising software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
