Hiring a Material Handler in Greencastle, PA

Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for providing shipping, receiving, storage, and order fulfillment services for finished goods, inventory materials, supplies, parts, and equipment at the assigned facilities. You must not be afraid of heights as you will be trained on a cherry picker forklift.

Shifts available:

1st shift- Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm plus overtime. $18.50/hour

2nd shift- Monday-Friday 10:30am-7pm plus overtime. $20.35/hour

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and process items for storage and/or shipment according to established procedures and customer requirements.
• Receive materials and/or finished goods daily, verifying the quality, type, and amount of materials received and ensuring appropriate documentation is present.
• Operate distribution equipment as required in a warehouse environment under various temperatures.
• Complete all required training and adhere to site distribution standards, including document control and quality policies.
• Communicate effectively with internal personnel and maintain strong customer service skills.
• Recognize deviations from accepted practices and ensure adherence to shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures.

This is a Contract position based out of Greencastle, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.35/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Greencastle,PA.
