Ice Cream Production – Weckerly’s Ice Cream
Weckerly’s Ice Cream is a small, scratch-made ice cream company dedicated to creating high-quality products with locally sourced ingredients. As we gear up for a busy summer and expand our year-round wholesale and retail operations, we’re looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our production team.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced kitchen, perfect for someone who thrives in a team environment and takes pride in precision and craftsmanship.
PLEASE NOTE: Prior baking experience in a professional setting is REQUIRED.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare recipes for baking and ice cream production
- Operate commercial kitchen and ice cream equipment
- Process ingredients, cut sandwiches, wrap and package finished products
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
- Receive deliveries and maintain raw materials
- Track raw materials, WIP, and finished product inventory
- Complete daily food safety and equipment check logs
Qualifications:
- Previous baking experience REQUIRED
- Able to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and efficient working within a small team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety
- Must be available year-round
