VAS/HPP Workflow Coordinator - 3rd Shift

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday | 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM

Position Overview

The VAS/HPP Workflow Coordinator plays an essential role in keeping production activities organized, accurate, and on schedule. This position manages work order flow, inventory tracking, and communication between warehouse, operations, and food safety teams to ensure smooth execution of daily processing. The role requires strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and the ability to quickly address workflow challenges while supporting production needs.

Core Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate production work orders to support daily operations

- Assist with scheduling and documentation tied to HPP and value-added processing

- Maintain accurate inventory and transaction records within internal systems

- Partner with warehouse staff to support timely product movement

- Monitor inventory before and after processing to confirm accuracy

- Ensure all system scans and entries are completed correctly

- Update, finalize, and archive production paperwork and digital records

- Complete end-of-shift reporting and communicate key updates to incoming teams

- Close work orders once quality approvals are complete

- Identify process issues and escalate when needed

- Provide hands-on operational support when production demands require it

- Coordinate inbound/outbound activity scheduling

Qualifications

- Education & Background

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Postsecondary education in business, supply chain, or a related field preferred

- Experience in warehouse coordination, logistics, or production support is beneficial

- Exposure to ERP/WMS systems is an advantage

Work Environment

- Work takes place in a refrigerated production facility (approximately 35°F)

- Extended standing with frequent bending and movement required

- Ability to repeatedly lift moderate weight and occasionally heavier loads

- May involve pushing or pulling loaded rollers when necessary
