Assistant Director Behavioral Health

Join a mission-driven organization as the Assistant Director of Behavioral Health Services (ADBHS) and help shape innovative, inclusive mental health care for youth and LGBTQIA+ communities. This leadership role supports day-to-day operations, clinical supervision, training, and program development for a dynamic Behavioral Health team.

• Supervise and mentor behavioral health staff and trainees

• Lead team meetings and case conferences

• Provide a limited caseload of direct psychotherapy services (minimum 13 weekly encounters)

• Oversee documentation and quality improvement efforts

• Manage crisis response and patient escalations

• Support youth-focused services and internship programming

• Collaborate across departments to advance integrated care

• Coordinate outreach, training, and community partnerships

• Master’s in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field

• Active PA licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist)

• 3+ years post-grad clinical experience

• Experience supervising clinicians and working with LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and youth populations

• Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred

• Familiarity with EMRs (Athena), Microsoft Office, and data tools
