Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Master‘s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. No clinical fellows will be considered for this role.
• Active Pennsylvania state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist required to begin the assignment.
• Experience working in a large CCRC or similar setting that includes inpatient/outpatient, skilled nursing, long-term care, and independent living.
• Experience with NetHealth electronic medical record system.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience treating complex dysphagia and cognitive-communication disorders in post-acute and long-term care populations.
• Experience with interdisciplinary team collaboration in geriatric care settings.
