Borough Manager
The Borough of Ebensburg is seeking applicants for the position of Borough Manager. The current manager is retiring after five years of service; one of only four managers in sixty years. Ebensburg (population 3,100) is a community known for its small-town charm, excellent schools, safe neighborhoods and exceptional recreational programs. The Manager reports to a 7-member Borough Council and is responsible for all borough operations, 17 FT employees and a $7.67 million budget. A degree in Business, Public Administration or closely related field is preferred. The candidate MUST have demonstrated managerial experience in local government and possess the combination of education, training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skill and abilities required for the position. The successful candidate must have outstanding communication skills, success in team building, experience in finance and budgeting, and be innovative. Salary range is $100,000+, depending on experience and qualifications. Excellent benefits.
