Heavy Equipment Driver

Position: Heavy Equipment Driver (Lowboy / Trailer)
Location: Allentown, PA
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Driver to transport machinery safely and efficiently. This role involves hauling a wide range of equipment—from mini excavators to machines exceeding 80,000 lbs.—using lowboy trailers, rollbacks, and truck/trailer combinations. Occasional shop support and light duties may also be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport heavy equipment to and from job sites
• Operate lowboy trailers, rollbacks, and truck/trailer combinations
• Safely load, secure, and unload equipment
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment and vehicles
• Assist with general shop tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience transporting heavy equipment
• Experience with a wide range of machinery (excavators, skid steers, loaders, dozers, etc.)
• Rollback experience is a plus (not required)
• Basic mechanical skills preferred
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Ability to pass FMCSA-required drug and alcohol screenings
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
