The Deli Manager / Prep Cook is responsible for overseeing daily deli operations and food preparation while ensuring high-quality customer service and compliance with safety standards. This role involves managing a team of 11-20 employees, maintaining inventory, and fostering a productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste
- Supervise and lead a deli team of 11-20 employees
- Prepare food according to established recipes and quality standards
- Conduct quality control to maintain product consistency and presentation
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Schedule staff shifts efficiently to meet operational needs
- Train new and existing staff on procedures and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service
