A rewarding opportunity is available for a Pharmacist at a large 500-bed hospital in York, PA. This contract position offers an immediate start and lasts for 13 weeks or longer, with a variable schedule including days and afternoons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient pharmacy operations.
- Consult with physicians and healthcare team members regarding medication therapy.
- Manage pharmacokinetics and clinical dosing adjustments.
- Utilize IT systems such as EPIC and Pyxis to support pharmacy workflows.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license.
- Approximately 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clinical staff.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and automated medication dispensing systems.
Location: York, Pennsylvania
Schedule:
- Variable days and afternoons to meet hospital needs.
