Associate Director
Pay Rate: $21-24/hour | Weekly Pay
Location: Bucks County, PA
Position Summary:
Jento Solutions Inc. is seeking a compassionate and experienced Associate Director to lead operations across residential group homes. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting individuals with mental health conditions and intellectual disabilities in a safe, supportive living environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Age & Driving Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years .
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Education & Experience:
- Associate degree or higher in Human Services or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience working with individuals with mental health needs and intellectual disabilities , including 2 years in a supervisory role
- Skills Required:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage staff performance, handle conflicts, and maintain a high standard of care
Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Oversight:
- Supervise residential supervisors and direct care staff.
- Provide onboarding, training, mentoring, and annual performance reviews.
- Step into leadership roles as needed during staff absences.
- Ensure proper implementation of care plans and program goals.
Program & Compliance Management:
- Conduct regular home visits to observe staff and resident interactions.
- Monitor program budgets, maintain staffing levels, and oversee documentation.
- Enforce safety standards, investigate incidents, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Prepare for licensing audits and agency reviews.
Resident Care Oversight:
- Promote individual rights, choice, privacy, and safety for all residents.
- Oversee implementation of ISPs and behavioral plans.
- Address family and guardian concerns professionally and timely.
- Assist with personal care support when needed.
Administrative & Operational Duties:
- Manage timekeeping, staff schedules, PTO tracking, and shift coverage.
- Communicate with external providers, case managers, and family members.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies.
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, inspections, and investigations.
Equipment Used:
- Mechanical/manual lifts, wheelchairs, adjustable beds
- Telephones, cell phones, and standard office equipment (fax, computer, printer)
- Medical and safety supplies (oxygen tanks, G/J tubes, PPE, etc.)
