As an Infant Teacher at Primrose School of Royersford, youll help care for little ones who range in age from six weeks to one year old. They are eager to learn about and explore their world, and through singing, dancing, and storytelling, youll provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures the social, emotional, cognitive, creative and physical development of each child.
As a Toddler Teacher Primrose School of Royersford, you'll help care for little ones who are one year old to 36 months old. They are eager to learn and explore and are looking for someone to play alongside of.

Make a difference every day.

• Spend your days building genuine relationships with each child thanks to low classroom ratios.
• Prepare materials that help children explore their environment through learning activities and active play.
• Work with your co-teacher to implement the lesson plans from the research-informed Balanced Learning curriculum.
• Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
• Discover what works best for each child as you teach them about the world around them.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a childcare or educational setting
• Passion for working with young children
• Ability to meet state-specific requirements for education and experience
• Eager to bring our Balanced Learning Curriculum to life!
• Willing to create a partnership with parents to work towards the best developmentally appropriate education experience for their children.
• Open communicators; willing to help and open to asking for help.
• Fun and ready to bring the JOY to each day!
• Minimum of 1-year related experience working with children between the ages of 0-5 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
