Lead Settlement Associate (Team Lead)
Industry: Logistics and Transportation

• Critical Thinking and Problem Solving :
  • Use analytical thinking to evaluate complex situations and make informed decisions that improve team performance and operational efficiency.
  • Address and resolve discrepancies, payment delays, or issues promptly while minimizing the impact on stakeholders.
  • Continuously assess workflows and suggest process improvements to streamline settlement operations and mitigate potential errors.

• Payment Processing and Accuracy :
  • Oversee the timely and accurate processing of payments to contractors, employees, vendors, and other key partners within the Bridgeway ecosystem.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and industry standards to maintain accuracy in settlements.
  • Perform audits and reconciliations to ensure payment integrity and to identify any discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Collaboration and Communication :
  • Work closely with internal departments (such as accounting, HR, and operations) to ensure the smooth flow of information and coordination of efforts in settlement activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for issues in a lead role, offering clear and effective communication with contractors, employees, and vendors to resolve concerns.
  • Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any payment-related inquiries.

• Leadership and Team Management :
  • Lead a team responsible for settlement activities, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

• Skills and Qualifications :
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle high volumes of work efficiently.
  • Solid understanding of financial systems, accounting, and payment processing in the logistics and transportation industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
