Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Finance is responsible for detailed financial operations and support of the overall financial health and compliance of the company. This position also provides department supervision and organizational leadership, in collaboration with various stakeholders and team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and management of all accounting processes
• Overall coordination of the month-end closing
• Preparation of financial statements and reporting to parent company
• Preparation of the annual corporate budget
• Review and summarize monthly account analyses prepared by the accounting staff for year-end audit and assist in corporate earnings projections
• Creation of annual accounting schedule
• Coordination of Accounting Dept with IT involving updates, software rewrites, new software, etc.
• Lead McClure efforts with CFO to coordinate all annual and “interim” audits, both internal and external, including the management of outside resources such as KM or SCA staffs
• Lead McClure efforts on sales tax audits as they are scheduled
• Ensure department is set up to handle new Corporate initiatives as they are created
• Ensure the successful introduction of new financial services such as ICS and Corpay
• Assist CFO with activities for business outside of Pennsylvania
• Create new initiatives to improve accounting operational efficiency as warranted
• Ensure full compliance with J-SOX (Japanese Sarbanes-Oxley Act) which requires establishing and maintaining internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree & CPA preferred
• Minimum 5 years experience of financial leadership experience required
• Minimum 5 years experience in construction accounting role required
• Strong understanding of unionized labor environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
