Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will provide one-on-one assistance to students with diverse learning needs, helping them to excel academically and develop essential skills. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives while working in a supportive and flexible environment.

Responsibilities:
-Implement individualized learning plans tailored to students' unique strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles.
-Provide guidance and encouragement to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
-Utilize effective teaching strategies and instructional techniques to enhance students' comprehension and retention of material.
-Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and educators to track students' progress and address any concerns or challenges.
-Maintain accurate records of students' academic performance and behavioral observations.
-Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines, including confidentiality and child protection protocols.

Required Clearances:
FBI Fingerprints
PA Criminal background check
Child Abuse clearance
Transcript/Diploma

CPR/First Aid certificate
Mandated Reporter training

Qualifications:
-High School Diploma
-Previous experience working with students in a tutoring, teaching, or mentoring capacity preferred.
-Knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues.
-Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed.

Job Type: Full-time & Part-time opportunities available

Pay: $20 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, school-based hours between 8AM-4PM
Work Location: In person, on-site daycare/classroom
