With approximately 270 team members located in Horsham, PA, we are currently seeking a Valuation Manager or Director to add to our outstanding team. At Kreischer Miller, you will have the opportunity to provide value added business advisory services to clients, as well as support our audit and tax clients' valuation needs. This opportunity offers a mixture of business valuations, analysis of financial statements, industry research, preparing various high-level presentations and offers a leadership opportunity at one of Philadelphia's leading CPA firms. This position will serve as a key member of the Business Advisory team and reports to the Director leading the group, which has high visibility to all leadership team members. The focus of this job is on achieving results which are aligned with the larger picture of the organization and its strategic goals. Initiative, coupled with a sense of competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions, is the key to achieving the performance objectives of this job. Decision-making is focused on implementing practical, timely solutions. The emphasis on building rapport and relationships with individuals and groups requires an outgoing, poised and persuasive communication style. Because the pace of the work is faster than average, the ability to learn quickly and thoroughly while continually recognizing and adapting to changing conditions is critical. While the job requires the ability to act independently, a sense of urgency and the confidence to handle a variety of challenges, a full commitment to the success of the business and high standards of achievement are expected in this position. - Lead and develop our client service professionals through guidance and mentoring.
- Ability to write Business Valuation reports.
- Identify target clients; build relationships; conduct business meetings; identify and explore needs, present solutions, negotiate terms, and secure profitable advisory projects.
- Provide high quality services to sophisticated entrepreneurial business and their owners.
- Understand valuation drivers and provide guidance to support growing companies.
- Devise and implement strategies and advise clients regarding the impact of those strategies.
- Train and develop other members of the advisory team.
Requirements: - Ideal candidate will have at least seven years of experience in writing business valuations for IRS compliance and financial reporting purposes
- Professional certification in business valuation required (eg. CVA, ABV, ASA)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Experience sourcing, managing and executing business valuations;
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modeling and valuation;
- Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory standards
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization;
- Proficiency in valuation software and financial modeling tools.
- Must be comfortable working within a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
- Business Development acumen required, experience preferred.
