Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 national law firm , is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its established Housing Finance Practice Group . This is an outstanding opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial real estate finance matters within a nationally-recognized practice that closes transactions across all 50 states.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction , in good standing
• 2–5 years of substantive experience in commercial real estate finance
• Experience representing lenders or borrowers in commercial real estate finance transactions
• Familiarity with multifamily housing finance programs , including Fannie Mae , Freddie Mac , and/or FHA multifamily , is a plus
• Strong background in reviewing title insurance , surveys , and related due diligence materials
• Exceptional drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to superior client service, with interest in direct client contact and business development opportunities

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Housing & Real Estate Finance team in originating , structuring , and closing complex commercial real estate finance transactions
• Review and negotiate loan documents , closing deliverables , title insurance policies , surveys , and due diligence materials
• Work closely with multifamily lenders and engage with national lending programs where applicable
• Coordinate multi-jurisdictional transactions and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Conduct legal research and prepare client-ready memoranda and transaction summaries
• Participate in client meetings, industry events, and business development initiatives

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary: Expected annual salary range of $205,000 – $275,000 , commensurate with experience and market conditions
