Sales Coordinator

Sales Coordinator – Feeser’s Food Distributors | Harrisburg, PA**
Since 1901 , Feeser’s, Inc. has been a trusted, family‑owned foodservice distributor serving the Mid‑Atlantic. We deliver thousands of dry, refrigerated, and frozen products to restaurants, healthcare facilities, schools, and institutions — and we’re growing fast.
We’re looking for a high‑energy, detail‑driven Sales Coordinator who thrives on supporting customers, driving sales momentum, and helping a winning team succeed. If you love solving problems, building relationships, and keeping operations running smoothly, this role puts you right at the center of the action.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Customer & Account Support
- Build strong customer relationships and understand their evolving needs
- Provide fast, accurate support via phone, email, chat, voicemail, and Microsoft Teams
- Recommend additional and complementary products
- Assist customers with product suggestions, alternatives, and proprietary items
- Monitor orders before daily cut‑off to ensure next‑day delivery
- Assist with online order entry setup, training, and customer onboarding
Sales & Growth Enablement
- Partner with the Strategic Sales Manager to support segment‑specific accounts
- Assist with prospecting and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline
- Identify opportunities to penetrate existing accounts with new products
- Support marketing campaigns and follow up on leads
- Attend select conferences and industry events to expand knowledge and visibility
Order & Data Management
- Enter customer orders into the ERP system with accuracy and speed
- Keep customer order guides updated and aligned with current needs
- Provide item maintenance teams with product setup information
- Assemble business review materials with value‑focused content
Performance & Reporting
- Track progress toward performance metrics and budgeted goals
- Provide regular updates to management on sales activity and KPIs
- Analyze customer and category performance to identify improvement opportunities
- Share market insights and customer feedback to strengthen strategies
Skills Required
- Excellent organizational and project‑management abilities
- Strong writing, math, and attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with willingness to expand skills
- Ability to quickly resolve customer inquiries with empathy and initiative
- CRM system organization and utilization
- Dependable time‑management and punctuality

- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment
Qualifications & Experience
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Minimum 3 years in sales, sales support, customer service, or administrative roles (required)
- Experience in foodservice or food distribution (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (required)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to move between work areas as needed
- Clear verbal communication skills
- Repetitive hand and wrist motions
- Adequate visual acuity (close, distance, color, depth perception, focus adjustment)
