As an Building Systems Maintenance Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will utilize your core skills in mechanical knowledge and commercial maintenance to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Your premium expertise in HVAC systems will enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, your relevant skills in electrical systems and customer service will support a safe and functional environment for all occupants. Schedule is full time – M-F 7:30am-4:30pm. Full benefits, including UPMC healthcare, dental, vision, retirement plan (i.e. IRA) and vacation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on building systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems.
• Utilize operating manuals and schematics to assess and resolve maintenance problems efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant concerns and ensuring a safe environment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS or work order system.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance
• Proficiency in electrical systems and electrical experience
• Ability to read and interpret schematics
• Customer service and support skills
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and welding
• Experience with CMMS and work order systems in maintenance environment
