Job Summary:

Primary responsibilities will include detail design of machinery and checking manufacturing drawings. Will work with an experienced engineering team to execute projects from concept development through manufacture and installation.

This is a supervisory role and will include a significant amount of interaction with customers and shops. Occasional travel is expected.

Key skills to be successful in this role are a strong understanding of mechanical fundamentals, understanding of industrial machinery manufacturing and maintenance, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Specific responsibilities include:

- 3D CAD modeling and 2D drafting.

- Design of machines including fabricated and machined parts, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical motors and sensors.

- Design evaluation based on functionality as well as manufacture, assembly, installation, and maintenance considerations.

- Force and stress analysis, both analytical and using finite element analysis

- Checking of drawings - arrangements, details, and bills of material

- Participation in machine assembly and testing

- On-site support for installation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
