Manufacturing operator

Volt is immediately hiring for a Manufacturing Operator at Easton, Pennsylvania.

As a Manufacturing Operator you will:

• Inspect products for quality, accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Manufacture Silicone Carbide Wafers
• Set up, operate and monitor manufacturing machines and equipment.
• Ensure machines are running efficient by performing regular checks and adjustments.
• Load raw materials and unload finished products.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and repair any malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Inspect and measure parts or products using gauges, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring tools.
• Work in a controlled or cleanroom production setting.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing production, or machine operation environment.
• Basic Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Capable of lifting and handling up to 50lbs over short distances
• Must have knowledge and competency in computer-aided manufacturing

This is a Full-Time/Contract opportunity.

Schedule : Shift A: every Sun-Mon-Tues and alternating Wed 6am to 6pm

Shift B: every Thurs-Fri-Sat and alternating Wed 6am to 6pm

Shift C: every Sun-Mon-Tues and alternating Wed 6pm to 6am

Shift D: every Thurs-Fri-Sat and alternating Wed 6pm to 6am

Duration: 6+ Months

Payrate Range: $22.0 to $23.0/hour
