The Bartender plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences within a small team of 1-3 bartenders. Reporting to the Bar Manager, this position involves preparing drinks, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and safe bar environment. The bartender uses standard POS systems and inventory management tools daily and has growth opportunities including promotion to Bar Manager or specializing in mixology.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Provide excellent customer service and engage patrons in a friendly manner
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Take customer orders and verify identification to ensure legal compliance
- Comply with all safety and responsible beverage service regulations
- Manage inventory using inventory management tools
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years bartending experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Responsible Beverage Service Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience handling cash and operating POS systems
