An excellent CPA firm local to Chadds Ford, PA is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team!

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant with strong technical skills and attention to detail to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, small-firm environment and is comfortable handling both tax preparation and general accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and S-corporations
• Perform tax research and ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
• Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve tax-related issues
• Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Maintain and organize client chart of accounts
• Assist clients with basic bookkeeping and accounting needs
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and client tax savings
