Position Overview:

Our client, a reputable civil engineering firm based in Allentown, PA, is seeking a skilled Civil 3D Drafter/Designer to join their team. In this role, you will work closely with design engineers, utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D software to create detailed plans for the land development of residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed civil engineering plans and drawings for land development projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
• Collaborate with design engineers to support the development and delivery of accurate project designs.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D software to draft site layouts, grading, utilities, and stormwater management systems.
• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes, regulations, and project specifications.
• Modify and update existing plans based on feedback from engineers and project teams.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil 3D Drafter/Designer, with a focus on land development projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software is required.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering design principles, including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and design.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with engineers and project managers.
• Experience working on residential, commercial, and industrial land development projects is a plus.

Education:

• Associate's degree or technical certification in CAD, Drafting, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered.
