Payroll Coordinator

ABOUT THE ROLE…

The Payroll Clerk is a vital member of our Finance department who will support the end-to-end payroll process for all Retail Stores located in the United States.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

• Provide support to the organization's multi-state/multi-company payroll functions.

• Maintain payroll information by collating, calculating and entering data in ADP timely and accurately.

• Update payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as job title changes, exemptions and saving deductions.

• Prepare reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leave, and non-taxable wages.

• Solve simple to moderate problems requiring understanding of policies, systems, and bookkeeping principles and recognize the need for additional investigation.

• Follows all processing procedures, adheres to policies and maintains confidentiality.

• Answer inquiries via telephone from managers regarding reports or to resolve discrepancies

• Other additional assignments as instructed by manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Highschool Diploma/GED is required.

• At least 1 or more years of experience with payroll processing.• APA/CPP/PDC Certification(s) is a plus.

• Prior experience using ADP is preferred.

• Strong computer skills such as typing, system and software knowledge.

• Accurate data entry skills with great attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with employees regarding their issues and concerns.

• Ability to multitask in a stressful environment with specific deadlines.

• Uphold confidentiality and respect for the privacy of employee records.
