Summary:
A Loan Closer is responsible for facilitating the closing of loans, ensuring all legal and financial requirements are met to finalize the loan process. They work closely with borrowers, lenders, and other parties involved to coordinate the necessary documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Prepare, collect, and review documentation to close loan packages or loan files
• Enter data on loan closing documents promptly
• Assure all information is correct and signed accurately in the closing documentation, third-party orders, closing packages, and loan files
• Review that all closing conditions are satisfied and executed according to the closing instructions
• Prepare and execute the transfer of lender funds for disbursement
• Resolve any post-closing issues immediately
• Manage the File room, including sign-in & sign-out procedures and protocol
• Administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
• Assist with packing, sending, and documenting notices, letters, etc.
• Assist with maintaining an organized file room
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Retrieval of collateral files for the post-payoff process
• Professional customer interactions, both internally and in-person, via telephone, mail, or email, when providing support and/or information
• Point person between origination insurance and escrow departments as it relates to policies and payments
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management

EDUCATION & TRAINING :

• College Degree preferred
• 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience that meets the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE :

• Knowledge of applicable State and Federal laws, rules, regulations, and guidelines regarding chattel loans and/or real estate loans
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel software

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8 hours per day/day shift

Salary Details:

• $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
• Non- Exempt/Hourly

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
• Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and position self to maintain files in filing cabinets
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
