Job Title: Outside Salesperson - Equipment Rental

Location: Philadelphia and South Jersey

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Salesperson to join our team in the equipment rental industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business relationships, maintaining existing accounts, and driving sales growth through exceptional customer service and industry knowledge. This is a “hunting & farming” position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Development: Identify and pursue new rental opportunities through networking, cold calling, and relationship building.
• Client Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and satisfaction.
• Sales Presentations: Conduct presentations and demonstrations of equipment to prospective clients, showcasing features and benefits.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify potential opportunities for growth.
• Sales Strategy: Collaborate with management to develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotional activities.
• Proposal Development: Prepare and present rental proposals and contracts, negotiating terms and pricing to close deals.
• Account Management: Monitor rental agreements and follow up on customer inquiries, ensuring a high level of service and support. Integrate with your customer. Be present in the office and on the job site.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions in CRM software.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in equipment rental, construction, or a related field.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
• Sales Skills: Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with rental equipment and its applications; ability to understand technical specifications.
• Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.

• Competitive base salary plus monthly commission structure
