The Freight Pricing & Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting a dynamic transportation team, handling high-volume freight quoting and providing operational logistics support. This position requires adeptness in managing a shared inbox, delivering accurate freight quotes swiftly, and maintaining meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the shared freight quote inbox, ensuring incoming requests are reviewed, prioritized, and cleared daily.

• Process and respond to 70-150 freight quote requests per day.

• Generate accurate pricing for LTL, FTL, and expedited shipments as required.

• Maintain a target turnaround time of within one hour from receipt of quote requests.

• Utilize internal systems and pricing tools to develop competitive quotes.

• Validate shipment details including dimensions, weight, equipment requirements, and accessorial needs.

• Support tracking and tracing activities when capacity allows.

• Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders to resolve missing or unclear shipment information.

• Maintain organization and visibility within the inbox and quoting workflow.

Essential Skills

• Experience in logistics, transportation, freight quoting, transportation coordination, logistics operations, or brokerage environments.

• Working knowledge of LTL and Truckload transportation.

• Proven ability to manage high email and workflow volume with tight turnaround expectations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the flooring industry is a plus.

• Familiarity with DAT tools, including DAT RateView, for truckload pricing.

• Knowledge of freight dimensions, loading practices, or equipment planning.

• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).

• Understanding of accessorials and common freight exceptions.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position requiring a reliable internet connection. Equipment necessary for the job will be provided. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Lancaster, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
