Position: Truck Driver - CDL | OTR | Hourly Pay with OT | FREE Benefits
Pay: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time (usually 30+ hours/week)
Location: Pittsburg, PA (based in New Stanton, PA with travel outside the Pittsburgh area)

About the Role

We’re seeking experienced CDL Truck Drivers to join our Development Fleet Operations Team, supporting the safe testing and operation of advanced autonomous truck technologies.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for daily driving and testing of autonomous trucks while hauling commercial freight. You will ensure safety, provide feedback on performance, and help shape the future of self-driving transport.

Schedule

• OTR (Over the Road) – not local routes
• Typically 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with overtime
• Hours may vary based on testing and freight timelines
• Flexibility required for overnight or extended testing runs

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate autonomous trucks on public roads
• Haul commercial freight between customer sites or meet points
• Monitor and report on vehicle behavior and performance
• Use smartphone or tablet tools to log routes and assignments
• Maintain top-tier safety and compliance standards
• Remain alert and attentive during extended operations

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA regulations
• Understanding of vehicle inspection and ELD systems
• Comfortable using smartphones and tablets

Required Qualifications

• Current Class A CDL with Airbrake endorsement
• Minimum 3 years of Class A driving experience
• Clean driving record
• Ability to travel frequently, including multi-week trips
• Must pass road test, DOT physical, and background/drug screening
• Maintain DOT FMCSA Clearinghouse compliance
• Complete sleep apnea screening within 30 days of hire
• Strong communication skills and professionalism
