Inventory Coordinator
Inventory Coordinator Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Location: Onsite – Bethel Park, PA Compensation: $43,000 – $45,000/year
About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized Inventory Coordinator for a direct-hire opportunity with a premier manufacturer of electromechanical motion solutions in Bethel Park. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of inventory control, ensuring production teams always have the materials they need. From creating bills of material to purchasing stock and managing supplier relationships, you will play a critical role in keeping operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities:- Create bills of material (commit inventory) for new manufacturing orders.
- Monitor components and raw materials to identify shortages and ensure adequate stock for production.
- Analyze data to forecast future needs and optimize inventory control procedures.
- Place replenishment orders, request quotes, and negotiate cost-effective pricing with suppliers.
- Record daily deliveries, verify received inventory against quality standards, and fulfill parts orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory data within CRM and ERP systems.
- Conduct annual physical inventory verifications.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in inventory coordination or a similar role.
- Mechanical Background: A solid understanding of mechanical components is required.
- Driving Ability: Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to safely drive a truck as needed.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of inventory management/ERP software.
- Analytical Skills: math skills with an understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Education: BSc/BA in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.

- Inventory Management: Inspect levels of components and raw materials to identify shortages; ensure material stock is adequate for all production needs based on customer orders and forecasts.
- Optimization: Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures and analyze data to anticipate future needs.
- Order Processing: Place orders to replenish stock, avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus; request quotations and negotiate pricing for items to be ordered.
- Receiving & Fulfilling: Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory; verify received inventory to specification and quality standards; fulfill all parts orders.
- Supplier Relations: Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trusted relationships.
- Software Management: Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory; make sure the CRM system has all relevant information related to ongoing orders.
- Reporting: Report to the production manager on stock levels, issues, etc.
