Office Manager

We are helping a client who is a leading, high-volume agricultural production and distribution company. With a dedicated workforce of over 800 employees across cultivating, harvesting, and logistics, we are looking for an organized Office Manager & Payroll Assistant to streamline our clients main office and support high-volume payroll operations.

salary: $52,000 - $62,000 per year

Responsibilities

Office Management (50%)

• Daily Operations: Oversee day-to-day administrative functions of the main facility.

• Supply & Vendor Management: Order office supplies, breakroom provisions, and PPE; manage vendor relationships and invoices.

• Communication Hub: Greet visitors, manage incoming mail/deliveries, and serve as the primary office contact.

• Facility Coordination: Coordinate with IT, maintenance, and security to ensure a safe, functional workspace.

Payroll Assistance (50%)

• Timekeeping Verification: Monitor and verify daily time clock data for 800+ hourly, salaried, and piece-rate workers; resolve discrepancies with supervisors.

• Processing Support: Assist the Payroll Manager with high-volume weekly and bi-weekly payroll runs.

• Data Entry: Maintain accurate employee files in the HRIS/payroll system (new hires, tax changes, direct deposits).

• Employee Support: Serve as a point of contact for staff payroll inquiries and compliance tracking.
