Facility Maintenance Technician

Heeter Printing is seeking a skilled Facility / Maintenance Technician to support our operational facilities. This role requires a versatile skill set and will play a key role in keeping the plant and facility systems operating efficiently. Ideal candidate will have experience / knowledge with electrical, mechanical, and maintenance needs within a custom manufacturing environment.

POSITION:

• Follow Manufactures recommended maintenance intervals and follow planned updates on facility equipment. Report and document completion of maintenance.
• Work with building manangement to maintain the facilities and completing hands-on work needed.
• Source needed parts for equiptment through manufacturers or using off-brand dealers.
• Maintain inventory of parts cabinet and communicate to Senior leadership status updates of parts used and needed.
• Maintain maintenance plan but adjust to priority attention needs.
• Educate Operators in the proper execution of preventative maintenance
• Communicate with outside Vendors or Manufacturers and maintain a positive and professional demeanor interally and externally at all times.

Must be available to travel between our facilities located in Canonsburg and Duquense, PA and Cleveland, OH including overnight travel.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Mechanically inclined with previous experience in a similar maintenance position.
• Demonstrated work ethic with the ability to work quickly and efficiently managing a very fast paced environment
• Ability to work well in a group and individually to meet internal customers needs while communicating professionally.
• Demonstrated ability to work proactively with a plan but able to be flexible and responsive in an emergency.
• Working knowledge of Safe Work Practices and ability to work safely withint a fast-paced production environment
• Basic proficiency using software and computer systems needed to perform the work: Internet, MS Office, Inventory Management and our internal MIS system (PACE).

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• High school diploma, general education (GED) or equivalent

• Standing up to 8 hours per day
• Lift/Pull up to 35 lbs often, 50 lbs occasionally
• Manufacturing facility with constant noise
• Ability to read and distinguish small print, depth perception, color perception
• Must be able to pass a background and drug test, including have a clean driving record
