Key Job Details – Med/Surg RN Locum Tenens

• Location: Du Bois, PA 15801 – Explore healthcare jobs in Pennsylvania while enjoying scenic parks, vibrant local shops, and abundant outdoor recreation.
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (September 22, 2025 – December 22, 2025)
• Healthcare Setting: Medical/Surgical Unit (GMS3)
• Shifts: Rotating 12-hour shifts (Day: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Night: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910 - $1960
• Employment Type: Locum tenens (travel nursing contract)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license (Pennsylvania RN license preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical/Surgical RN experience
• Experience managing patient ratios of 1:5–1:7 days with LPN support, and 1:6–1:8 nights with LPN support
• Completion of PA fingerprinting and Childline process upon contract signing (instructions provided)
• Lab work to be completed within 72 hours of contract signing
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a busy Medical/Surgical unit
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety standards
