• Position Type: Travel/Contract (Locum Tenens)

• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570 - $1610
• Patient Demographics: Adults, geriatrics, neonates, pediatrics, hospice
• Respiratory Equipment: Vocsn Ventilators, V60 bipaps
• Electronic Health Record: Modern EHR systems
• Float Requirement: May float to facilities within a 25-mile radius

Registered Respiratory Therapist Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist (neonatal and pediatric experience required)
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult)
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check (Iowa SING BG, criminal and child abuse)
• 10-panel drug screening (including opiates)
• Willingness to float to nearby healthcare facilities as needed

Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to neonates, pediatrics, adults, geriatrics, and hospice patients
• Operate and manage advanced respiratory therapy equipment, including Vocsn ventilators and V60 bipaps
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and perform critical interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system
• Float to other hospital units or regional facilities within a 25-mile radius as required
