As a Direct Care Worker - Part Time at KeystoneCare, you'll play a critical role in supporting individuals who are frail, ill, or immobile. Your responsibilities will include assisting clients with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and housekeeping, while also providing companionship and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Preparing nutritious meals and assisting clients with eating and drinking.
• Performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Administering prescribed medications and monitoring clients' conditions.
• Providing companionship and emotional support to clients to improve their mental wellbeing.
• Running errands and assisting with transportation as needed.
• Documenting care activities and observations accurately.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.
• Completion of a recognized training program for direct care workers or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a caregiving role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Empathetic and compassionate nature toward clients.
• Ability to follow instructions and document care services accurately.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required
• Proof of Influenza (Flu) Vaccination or an approved Medical or Religious exemption.
