Manual Machinist

Our client located in Feasterville, PA is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join their team! The ideal candidate will have a background creating parts for custom job pieces and working with stainless steel, carbon steel, and titanium. Shift is Monday - Friday 8AM - 4:30PM (Flexible) Pay rate $32-35/hr with overtime available

salary: $66,560 - $72,800 per year

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in use of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial
calipers, depth gages, indicators, and scales.
• Communicate with supervisors, engineers, production control employees and
other personnel for assignments, and to resolve machining or quality issues.
• Use material handling equipment to lift and position heavy materials.
• Understand and abide by industry and machine-specific safety standards.
• Inspect cutting tools for sharpness and usability.
Other requirements:
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to follow
verbal and written instructions well.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and be adaptable to a changing work
environment. Open to being exposed to noise, fumes, and varying temperatures
in a shop environment.
• Must be able to perform repetitive motions and must have finger dexterity.
• Must have basic math skills that include geometry and algebra
• Must have problem solving ability and work independently
• High school diploma or GED.
• CNC experience a plus , i.e., Mazatrol or Prototrak

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• standing for 8 hours at one time
