Commercial HVAC Service Sales Rep.
- In an assigned territory, partner closely with Independent Manufacturers Representatives, District Office and Service Center Managers, sales colleagues, the parts team, and our technicians
- Meet sales goals through the development of existing customers and prospecting new business
- Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from installed equipment database, industry sources, business directories, vertical market information, or any other lead generation source.
- Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, build customer relationships, and follow up on customer concerns.
- Prepare cost estimates and price quotations on new work and coordinates the preparation of cost estimates on project continuations. Verifies and quotes prices, credit terms, and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
- Perform tests and conduct surveys on competitive products in order to determine the need for product alterations or the development of new products.
- Prepare reports of pipeline, sales activity and business plans.
- Identify and implement tools and resources to assist in sales efforts (e.g. energy rebates, estimated payoffs, ROI).

- High School Diploma or equivalent plus HVAC certification and 5 years HVAC field service experience Or, Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years commercial HVAC sales experience Valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle record
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Mechanical / technical aptitude/ability
- Advanced working knowledge of sales and product/service/solutions subject matter including complex turnkey, controls, and contracting
- Advanced business development skills and sales methodology to successfully close sales
- Financial / business acumen
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage complex projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluent in communicating with C Suite
- Advanced interpersonal skills (both internal and external) with ability to build and foster relationships
- Advanced negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to provide recommendations and solutions for more complex concerns/issues
- Ability to travel regularly to assigned territory
- 4 year Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, communications, or related field
