What you'll do

• Serve on-site at customer facilities (and PPG sites) to understand concerns, gather data, and resolve issues fast—followed by a concise daily trip report.
• Ensure accurate reporting to customers and the PPG coatings team.
• Coordinate with PPG Technical and Account Management to align activities and champion EH&S.
• Provide hands-on application support, oversee process monitoring, and offer mix-room guidance.
• Drive commercialization of new products and opportunities: trial execution, testing, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement and cross-functional problem-solving with Operations and Management.

Where you'll work and who you'll report to

You'll report to the Technical Service Manager. The role is primarily on-site in York, PA, with limited regional travel to other customer locations.

What you need to succeed

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of industrial coatings experience in electrocoat, wet paint, powder coating, electrostatic spray, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with paint mixing and application (strongly preferred).
• Strong computer, documentation, and customer communication skills.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments.
