Milestone Centers, a subsidiary of Partners For Quality Inc., is a nonprofit, community-based human services agency supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges and intellectual & developmental disabilities in communities throughout Western Pennsylvania. Our Agency oversees 20 residential settings, two outpatient offices, three adult training facilities, a prevocational enterprise program, a consumer drop-in center, habilitation services, and two Health Care Quality Units in Butler and Warren, which train professionals in 18 counties. Milestone Centers has earned certification from the Sanctuary Institute for providing trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the direction, oversight and management of all operations, procedures; services

and programming related to the Intellectual, Developmental and Autism (IDA) Residential Program

  • Demonstrates and reflects a commitment to the mission and values of Milestone by serving others with respect, dignity, and compassion.
  • Provides administrative and budgetary direction and oversight to the IDA Residential Program
  • Monitors overall performance of the IDA Residential Program
  • Works in cooperation with Human Resources and the Assistant Directors to facilitate the hiring of Residential Program staff as needed to maintain adequate staffing at each site per regulation
  • Provides technical assistance, supervision and support to positions supervised
  • Maintains a full understanding of and ensures compliance with the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) Waiver and 6400 Regulations and all other applicable regulations as they relate to the IDA Residential Program
  • Handles crises and emergency situations and reports incidents as required. Acts as Point Person by entering and managing incidents to the Home and Community Services Information Systems / Enterprise Incident Management system (HCSIS/EIM) for the IDA Residential Program. Ensures that corrective actions are implemented and documented
  • Maintains a safe environment in residential homes through monthly monitoring and quarterly site inspections
  • Monitors residential homes / physical sites and program vehicle needs and communicates such to the Senior Director of Residential Services. Communicates and coordinates regularly with Partners For Quality (PFQ) Facility Manager/Maintenance Technicians and with property management
  • Participates in IDA Team Meetings and Agency Committees as assigned
  • Understands and implements Partners For Quality Corporate Personnel Policies and Procedures and Milestone specific Personnel and Operational Policies and Procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Residential

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree AND two years of supervisory experience AND one year’s experience working directly with people with disabilities; OR
  • Master’s degree in education, rehabilitation or other related field AND one year of supervisory experience AND one year’s experience working directly with people with disabilities
  • Working knowledge of the IDA system and ODP and County/Local regulations and requirements
  • Act 34 clearance and FBI background check, if applicable
  • Valid PA Driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Minimum Compensation: USD $65,000.00/Yr. Maximum Compensation: USD $70,000.00/Yr.
