Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Technician with solid knowledge in electrical engineering technology and experience in a manufacturing environment. The role involves assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electromechanical products, as well as training team members and developing work instructions to ensure the highest quality, reliability, and value of products.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test electromechanical products while carefully following work instructions.
• Troubleshoot small electromechanical products, processes, and test equipment.
• Interpret engineering prints and schematics.
• Develop and interpret production documents such as work instructions and checklists.
• Train production employees on safety, quality, and processes.
• Support all safety and quality initiatives, including 5S, ESD, and FOD.
• Support process improvements.
• Perform other related duties as required.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a relevant technical degree.
• 1-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with electromechanical products and mechanical assembly.
• Proficiency in industrial panel wiring.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the defense or medical device sectors is considered.
• Candidates with 3+ years of experience are preferred.
• Current students able to work part or full-time on a contract basis will be considered.
• Skills in manufacturing, Solidworks, electrical, mechanical, electromechanical diagnostics, and schematics are advantageous.
• Experience with precision instrumentation and complex electromechanical systems is preferred.
  
  

Work Environment

The work environment is a fast-paced, clean manufacturing facility. The position requires work from 7 am to 4 pm, with overtime as needed. There is a 30-minute lunch break and small breaks throughout the day. The company offers catered lunch daily and is located in an area where the robotics industry is growing, providing potential room for growth.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
