Summary
The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for diagnosing equipment including electrical and electronic problems by making adjustments and repairs on building and production equipment. This position breaks down equipment and replaces, adjusts or repairs parts.
Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform the following essential duties satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned to address business needs and changing business practices.

Develops standard maintenance programs to be incorporated into techinical manuals

Assists in Identifying and resolving recurrent failures

Supports root cause analysis program for major failures

Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors; and positions sensing devices.

Inspect equipment and facilities for problems and perform routine maintenance and repairs
-
Keeps machinery and production equipment in working condition and always ready for production.

Diagnoses and repairs issues with CNC Lathes, electrical panels, wheel lathes and boring mills.

Performs advanced troubleshooting and preventative maintenance tasks on different communication, electrical, measurement, and instrumentation equipment.

Read and Interpret work instructions, diagrams and electrical schematics
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
-
Ability to work independently.
-
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
-
Ability to work with tools such as amperemeter, multimeter, megameter.

1+ year of experience with electrical, electronic and industrial skills.
Preferred Qualifications
-
5+ years experience in electrical maintenance field.
-
1+ years of Welding Experience.
-
1+ years of Fabrication Experience.
-
Experience working and understanding OSHA regulations.
