DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will assign caseloads and investigations, including pre-parole, pre-transfer, pre-sentence, special investigations, and other related work assignments. You will review agent reports to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, as well as accuracy, clarity, quality, and timeliness. You will conduct administrative conferences with agents, reentrants, and Assessment, Sanctioning, Community Resource Agents to closely monitor reentry issues, provide guidance, develop appropriate sanctions, and support efforts to reduce repeat violations. Additional responsibilities include supervising and training parole agents by working closely with them to strengthen their professional skills, planning, organization, and overall effectiveness.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 40-hour work week Work schedule and hours to be determined. You will be required to work holidays and weekends. You must be willing to travel. This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years as a Parole Agent 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Three years and six months of professional experience in casework or counseling of offenders, auditing of offender caseloads, or investigation, in probation, parole, corrections, or a law enforcement agency; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.Special Requirements:
You must be in possession of an active non-commercial Pennsylvania Class C driver's license or equivalent.You must obtain CLEAN certification within two months of employment and maintain this certification for the duration of employment in this job.

Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required. You must meet the PA residency requirement.
