Team Lead – Residential Services (HCS Program)

We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and hands-on Team Lead to support our residential program. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field, supporting both clients and staff, and ensuring that homes operate safely, smoothly, and in compliance with standards. The Team Lead plays a key role in maintaining quality care, supporting daily operations, keeping sites organized, developing staff, and being a strong presence across multiple residential sites.

About Us

Our commitment to compassionate, personalized care has earned us the trust and loyalty of our clients and their families. Employees value our supportive culture and the opportunities we provide for professional growth and development.

What You’ll Do

  • Support clients in the community by providing transportation to day programs, activities, and appointments, including medical visits ranging from routine care to urgent or emergency situations.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations by completing tasks as directed by leadership, including transporting paperwork and supporting administrative needs between sites and the office. Must be comfortable using technology, including mobile apps and digital tools, as part of daily responsibilities.
  • Ensure sites are fully stocked and operational by picking up and delivering supplies from stores or the office as needed.
  • Provide shift coverage when needed due to call-offs or staffing gaps and participate in on-call responsibilities. Flexibility and willingness to step in where needed are essential.
  • Complete medication passes when required, including supporting sites with new or temporary staff who are not yet medication trained, while following all compliance standards.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized environments both inside and outside of residential sites. This includes assisting with cleaning, organizing, and general upkeep.
  • Conduct daily checks of key areas within assigned sites to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance. Address concerns promptly or escalate when needed.
  • Complete the HCS Residential Site Checklist once per week for each assigned site
  • Implement training of new staff to develop skills and competencies required for the role.
  • Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, employee engagement, and job satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass required background checks and meet state requirements
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Strong leadership and team support abilities
  • Ability to train, coach, and support new and existing staff

Preferred but Not Required

  • Current CPR certification
  • Medication Administration certification or training

Additional Requirements

Highly Desired Skills (Not Required)

  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Experience supporting individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing
