As a Full-Time CNA at Fellowship Community in Whitehall, you'll embark on an exciting journey filled with rewarding responsibilities that uplift our residents! You'll dive right into the heart of care-reviewing nursing and therapy plans to ensure each resident receives tailored assistance. Engage in meaningful interactions as you support residents with day-to-day activities like bathing, dressing, and meal prep, encouraging their independence along the way. Your role also includes monitoring vital signs, maintaining records, and providing compassionate care, all while adhering to established safety protocols.

To thrive as a CNA at Fellowship Community in Whitehall, you'll need a blend of essential skills and knowledge that make all the difference in residents' lives. A high school education or equivalent is required, along with current Pennsylvania certification as a nursing assistant. Prior CNA experience is preferred, as familiarity with federal, state, and local skilled nursing regulations can enhance your effectiveness in the role. Strong communication skills are vital, enabling you to connect with residents, including those who are visually or hearing impaired, and understand the specific care needs of geriatric residents, particularly in dementia care. Intermediate computer skills are necessary to document care and maintain accurate records.

Additionally, being certified in Basic Life Support and demonstrating a commitment to our RISE Core Values will be key to your success. A positive attitude and collaborative spirit will complete your toolkit for making a meaningful impact in our community.
