Position Overview

At Elevated Tree Care & North Hills Tree Service, we are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Sales Arborist to join our team. This role blends arboricultural expertise with consultative sales. You’ll meet with residential and commercial clients within the Pittsburgh area, assess tree health and safety, recommend appropriate services, and close work that supports both customer goals and long-term tree care.

The ideal candidate is personable, professional, and driven—someone who enjoys being in the field, building relationships, and turning expertise into results.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with clients on-site to assess trees, landscapes, and property conditions
• Identify hazards, health issues, and maintenance needs
• Recommend appropriate services such as pruning, removals, plant health care, and risk mitigation
• Prepare and present clear, accurate proposals and estimates
• Close sales & meet revenue goals
• Maintain client relationships through follow-ups and professional communication
• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth job execution
• Track leads, estimates, and sales activity in CRM
• Represent the company professionally and ethically at all times

Qualifications

• Required: ISA Certified Arborist
• Required: Valid driver’s license
• Required: 2+ years of sales or customer-facing experience
• Great people skills; self-motivated; computer proficient and organized
• Must be knowledgeable and experienced with tree care, hazard tree evaluation, and industry approved tree care practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to walk properties and work outdoors in varying conditions
• Comfortable using tablets, CRM systems, and estimating software

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Structure:

• Base Salary: $75,000 base salary (depending on experience) + bonus structure
• Sales Bonus / Commission
  • Commission earned on invoiced work/jobs
