**Job Title: Processor**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Processor to join our team. This role involves physically loading raw materials such as spices, sugars, and seasonings into machines, maintaining logs of materials fed into the machine, operating machines to ensure correct run times, and performing quality checks on products. The successful candidate will mix finished products to maintain the highest quality, prepare products according to established formulas, and monitor production needs. This position requires lifting up to 50 pounds.
**Responsibilities**
+ Physically load raw materials into machines.
+ Maintain accurate logs of materials fed into machines, both paper and electronic.
+ Operate machines to ensure products are run for the correct duration.
+ Perform quality checks on products as they are processed.
+ Mix finished products to ensure quality and adhere to established formulas.
+ Monitor production needs and set up decks for daily schedules.
+ Operate equipment to aid in processing formulas.
+ Use local control panels to manage ingredient additions and batch transfers.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in food manufacturing and processing.
+ Ability to operate processing machines effectively.
+ Knowledge of GMP and HACCP standards.
+ Strong quality control skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Related experience in food processing is preferred but not required.
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and standard operating procedures in English.
+ Possess math skills necessary for verifying ingredient quantities.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chambersburg, PA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.81 - $22.81/hr.
